
YouTube Brandcast at ExCeL
Brandcast is YouTube’s flagship advertiser event, a showcase designed to promote the platform as a powerful business tool through a mix of big-screen content, talks, live music, food, and drink. At ExCeL London, we were tasked with transforming a vast, empty warehouse into a fully branded, high-energy environment worthy of the YouTube name.
Challenge
The ExCeL space was cavernous and industrial, requiring hundreds of metres of graphic wrap to unify the environment and create a cohesive brand experience. The challenge was not only to brand the space, but to transform it into a vibrant, immersive setting that could shift seamlessly between keynote presentations, performances, and social interaction.
My Role
➡ Developed the event’s visual identity and look & feel.
➡ Designed and artworked all graphics, including large-scale wraps and signage.
➡ Created client-facing presentations.
➡ Reviewed and approved artwork prior to print and installation to ensure consistency.
Impact
Delivered a bold, immersive environment that completely redefined the raw warehouse interior, elevating it into a cohesive, branded stage for YouTube’s story. The transformation amplified the scale and energy of Brandcast, strengthening YouTube’s position with advertisers and partners.
